Dean has spent most his career owning and managing businesses in the refined fuels, construction and marine industry.  He founded a financial services company (“Nautica Investments”) in 2001, to provide consultation and/or loans to marine related companies.  He joined forces with Merrill Marine Services in 2005, and formed a new entity called (“Nautica Financial Services”).  The company evolved and now specializes in larger marine, aviation and energy projects requiring construction financing.

My primary role in working with clients is to learn about their business and help them package information in a manner that helps them raise Capital. Historically, my focus has been in financing Commercial Vessels  and Construction Equipment.  ​However, due to advances in technology I am now working with "Early Stage" companies in the Energy and Environmental Sectors.  In order to raise Capital for larger projects, NFS works with Securities Firms, Hedge Funds and Banks.  The blend of Capital keeps the overall interest rate down and allows for up to 100% financing on projects. 

ACTIVE PROJECTS:

Mariculture: I didn't know what Aquaculture was until recently, and we have now financed a "Mariculture Vessel", that harvests live mussels directly from the ocean near Long Beach, California.  The vessel, which is shown in the picture to the left, is being built at Nichols Bros Boat Builders and will be completed in October 2022.

EV Charging: The Electrical Grid will be expanded throughout the U.S. in the coming years and we have developed a Security that will provide the the funds necessary to build stations in California and throughout the United States.   

Mining:  We sourced financing for the reclamation bond and are providing equipment financing  to a company in Montana that will restart operations in September, 2022.  Upon completion, the land will be returned to its natural state.

Hybrid Vessels: The "Next-Gen Vessels"  will be powered by engines that utilize LNG, Hydrogen and/or Batteries.  Moreover, the U.S. Government is mandating that new vessels meet emissions requirements.  We are currently financing a new "Rear Suction Hopper Dredge", that will begin construction January, 2022.  This will be the first of a number of next-gen workboats that we will be building  and financing.  

Firefighting Planes:  In recent years, Forest Fires have been a growing threat to the West Coast, requiring more drastic measures to maintain the regions safety.  We are working with a company in Sacramento to upgrade their fleet and obtain a Federal Contract.  The P3's were designed for combat and can maneuver close to the fire and drop suppressant where its needed.

John Seibel is a Partner and Founder of McGinty Road Partners. He is a member of the Investment Team focused on sourcing, underwriting, and managing investments in Equipment Finance for McGinty Road Partners. John founded Allegiance Financial Group, Inc. (“AFG”) in 2001. Since its founding, AFG has funded over $500 million in transactions to over 1,000 customers throughout the United States. 

Allegiance and/or McGinty can provide Capital through the Funds they manage to finance/refinance Construction equipment, Boats, and Airplanes at attractive rates, that are “levered” with Bank Debt.  This helps keep the cost down on projects, that typically cannot be financed by Banks.

McGinty is providing financing to upgrade Milling Equipment at a Gold Mine operation in Montana.  Capital will be provided in Tranches necessary to begin production and processing of precious metals at the plant.​

Carl has over 30 years' experience in the securities, financial and real estate industry.  He brings an extensive knowledge and contacts in the institutional finance and real estate industries through his experience with broker dealers, public finance, bonds, private placements.  Hel has also been involved in international contract negotiations and finance in the healthcare industry. In recent years, he has focused on financing non-traded REIT portfolios in retail, healthcare, infrastructure and energy sectors.

Alec is a graduate of Seattle Maritime Academy and is a licensed a Merchant Marine, with Tankerman Certification.  He is currently working as a consultant to Nautica Financial Services, while attending Central Washington State University. 

He is a seasoned mariner, beginning with Seattle Sea Scouts, where he served aboard the Yankee Clipper, and was awarded the National Certificate of Merit by saving the life of a coworker.
