Vessels can be built to customer specification, in a “turn-key” manner, and payments will start upon completion. At the end of the construction period, the customer will have the option to finance or lease the vessel.
The primary objective of the program, is to make it easy for the owner/operator to build vessels, and allow them to focus on business, rather than overseeing construction activities. We will work directly with you and the naval architect, to build vessels to the operator’s specifications. This may also help reduce change orders, and related costs, as we have experience with vessel design and construction oversight.
An integral part of our program is an insurance policy, which was underwritten for our group. It will cover the vessel during construction and throughout the life of the loan or lease. The policy also allows for a longer amortization, for up to 20-years, if the operator desires to increase cash flow.
